Hello,

Will you be able to beat the VMWare Detection. I thought I had found the perfect solution until I read your thread about them being able to detect VMWare or a Virtual machine on a computer. The user was banned quickly.

If you can resolve this I can return to using evetrader?

I think if you change vmware videocard name to any standard name, vmware will not be detected. I just found that videocard name stored in registry (in my case window 7):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Control->Video->One of the subfolders:

Result is:

Just tested, eve online accepted new fake videocard name

p.s. (for search) VMware SVGA 3D (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)

I see what your saying.

I just checked it out on Windows 7 Running on VM. The registry on the VM is FULL of VMWare entries. so even if they see a normal video card... the registry is still full of VMWare evidence.

I think its too risky but I would love to try it on an account I can distance from my main accounts. Once CCP knows you like to bot... you will forever be on their watch list.

They use server side information. Some information is sent to CCP server during login and may be used to detect bot. Videocard name is too obvious sign.

you will forever be on their watch list.Till you reinstall OS.

But you can level new character and use bot safely if you reinstall OS, dont share registration information with old banned accounts and never login old account and bot account from the same OS. You told like CCP can track all of your activity, including new accounts you can make.
