I have lost a few Gilas due to the bot hitting the walls. They were T3 exotics. The bot was using all default settings.

Gila in default config never hit the wall as it is orbiting cache or gate (with one exception when it is orbitting karibdis at 1000m)
You can open errorhandler folder (bot menu->tools->data folder button->error handler subfolder) and check screens. Check how long time is left before kill. If you use default settings (CN vespa drones + CN scourge light missles + T3 exotic filament) and still cannot complete mission in time need to check what is going ON. E.g bot has a problem to activate afterburner with hotkey. Workaround is to activate it with mouse (shared settings->error corrections->activate med slots with mouse checkbox). If you have DPS issue you should check your skills (drone interfacing is missing?). Also make sure drone window is opaque. If not, need first run. I test Gila constantly with alfa account, so far default settings works w/o problems. No kills.

Here is the screenshot before the last death. The account is also omega and has most drone and missile skills at 4-5. From what I can see there is a lot of time left. However, I can see that my distance from the cache is 122 KM.
I forgot to mention that I changed the missiles to Scourge Fury Light Missiles.

I would suggest removing the picture. Your character name can be seen in the top left of your screen.

I found this in the logs for my latest run. I caught it before my ship died. The bot was stuck in this loop and did not do anything. I had to move the mouse for it to break the loop.
This is using the default Worm fit in T1 gamma. One of my drones died. There were no more drones left in the bay.

We were talking about Gila. Gila is orbitting cache and cannot exit out of abyss area. Worm can exit quite easily because it cannot tank Devoted Knight and trying to flee moving from beacon to beacon and attack NPC with drones only. Worm cannot survive 100% of runs, one kill every 5 days was standard outcome for me.
