Someone help me understand all of this...

I'm a little confused with the terms.. accounts, characters, clients, and bots.

Now. I know the meaning of each one, but how do you have multiples of all those running
at the same time?

Can I run all three of my characters/toons that are on my one account - at the same time?

I have two accounts with six characters. I'm running a trial of Eve Pilot until I get
the complete hang of everything (which is starting to happen now, thank goodness), and I
want to start running multiple bots. I run one account/bot on a Virtual Machine (VMWare), and
I run the other account/bot on my laptop's main operating system.

How do I have six miners running on Eve Pilot at the same time? Do I use VMs? Do I need
six accounts or six characters? How many copies of Eve Online do I need per Eve Pilot?
Do I have to buy six licenses of Eve Pilot? (that's pricey, geez)

For six miners mining at the same time you would need six eve accounts and six lic from macrolab. system will log in to all six accounts and run them at the same time you would have six windows open and running it auto switches between them.

It comes down to safety.

If you mine in high population systems or even some low population systems people will start to notice that your character is out there mining 23 hours a day 7 days a week, its more than is humanly possibly, they might eventually report you if you annoy them too much or if they just hate people that macro.

There's a few ways to overcome this, I believe I saw you say that you have 2 accounts, one that mines and one to play the game. You basically have 2 options, have all 3 of your characters on your mining account trained up in mining, then you set each of you characters to mine for 7 hours each every day, 7 hours in one system is still a tad suspicious but you can then split each account to maybe move to another system at the 3.5 hour mark and then people that frequent one system or the other wont really find you suspicious. Or, you could just have your 1 account switch between a few systems every hour or so.

The people with like 12 accounts and 18 characters and 8 VM machines are just taking this concept to the next level, on a far bigger scale.

I usually run 4 accounts in a deserted system, I'm doing okay for now but I defiantly don't want to get banned so I'm going to look into training some other characters up or switching systems a lot more often.

if u mean 2 eve-accounts and 6 chars (3 on each acc) then u just can use 1 from each account!
its not possible to run 2 chars from 1 account at the same time.

But u could one day use the first one, the second day the other one.

need advice on setting up 3 miner ,my 1st 2 I have set to mine ICE which works well most of the time untill the patches come out. I tryed setting up a 3rd to mine ore,went through the 1st run and I set up my bookmarks the ship will go out to the belt and set their for 3 min with out doing any thing and log off then restart and log off.
Ive check all my setting there the same as my other miners except it suppose to mine ore and not ICE settings.

2nd question can this program use mining drones?

3rd question will one make more on saleing raw ice or refining it and saleing that?

1) Have you tried running just the 3rd miner to make sure 1st run went through fine. If that works it may be a timing glitch with the EveMiner script. The ship may get to the belt and not get the focus it needs to start mining since ice has a longer cycle. Not sure what you can do about that except swap to a Mack

2) Does not look like you can setup for mining drones at this time.

Conclusion Ice takes up 1,000 m3 and nets you 51,000 isk per unit, however, the components take up 78m3 and nets you 84,791.53 isk per unit. So you can take 12 times the amount and make a much higher profit.
