I a only a casual botter, so only few VMs, I want to use my computer for other things too:

3 VMs, currently, two couriers and one trader.

GPU % is at 45-52%, now when the VMs are detached (I learned that the normal mode of operation for hyper-v vms is "headless")
Hyper-V Manager shows about 10%CPU for each VM
Taskmanager says CPU is at ~ 90%, whereof 20-30% is consumed by "Antimalware Service Executable".

I might have to exclude the VMs from the Virus Scanning perhaps...

In the past i have tryed to use Hyper-V but the game wouldnt start. I suspect it was NET Freamework related and i used only Win7Tiny.

I m testing it again and i cant make the Hyper-V VM start. I make the VM, install windows, and it automatically reboot (Win7Tiny). After this initial reboot its it doesnt recognize the HD, it allows me to load the win iso but not boot using the installed windows.

Any idea how to fix this?

According to this, the Tiny7 VMs (Service Pack zero) aren't using RemoteFX, which is supported by the fact that you're able to run the same amount of VMs as I can run in VMWare. RemoteFX requirements. Must have SP1 to use RemoteFX, and Tiny7 doesn't have it.

Also, I tried my own Win7 SP1 and it wouldn't launch Eve because it said there wasn't a display adapter.
flashpointid1, Are you using Tiny7? How did you get them to run?. Maybe there's a big difference from me using the server version.

On the other hand, I installed Hyper-V Server 2016 (No GUI. Free Stand-Alone) on a 7 year old computer of mine. (It was a giant pain in the ass! Like days of many hours!)

RemoteFX doesn't work on Windows 7.

i have managed to get everything running with hyper v but there is one thing bugging me:

every time i close the hyper-v window it goes into locked state.

i have tried several tricks to get rid of this but to no avail. any help?

also: isn't there a way to truly autostart evepilot? i managed to autostart evepilot itself but unless i press "continue" nothing happens

I tried a ton of different things and nothing ever worked. I found out that hyper V is exclusively a remote desktop protocol where you have to sign in in order for it to do anything, just like your host desktop requires you to sign in before Eve pilot will start. I eventually gave up. I also found that leaving it open causes it to stream that image to the computer through the network card regardless of whether it is being displayed or not. I ended up having to replace my network card. I am actually able to run more virtual machines in VMware than with hyper-v because of all of the CPU overhead involved in streaming all of the desktops.
