I have gone through every step of the VM setup exactly as the guide shows, but when ever tried to launch it says "the client for _____ has closed because an error occurred." Also when the bot tries to load the client for first run the client says checking gui version for 10 seconds before finishing loading and the bot stops and doesn't try to continue.

I have suggested to create snapshot after windows installation and before vm modification. Revert to this state. Check that vmware tools are installed. If you see option to reinstall vmware tools disabled, remove floppy drive or switch to autodetect. Reinstall vmware tools and start vmsetup again. If problem will stay, need to start log lite (in eve launcher, drop down menu) and check startup logs. If you cannot start loglite via launcher, find it in eve\launcher\ folder
