I am just in the process of reinstalling bots but for my trader, when I try to create the history file (First run completed as courier as I use courier addon for Autotrader) it fails and states the following:


"Too much errors. Current error limit: 0. This might be ESI API maintenance. Cancelling Task."


Then right after it comes up with


"Exception occurred"


Has a recent patch changed something that makes this happen or is this some other issue?

Is there any way of exporting the needed history data from the previous install of the bot? (Both are done in VMWare so old data should still exist in the other image)

Someting is wrong with ESI API. Errorlimit should be normally at 95-100 and decrease if you have many invalid calls. Zero is default integer value. You can use my old MarketHistory file. Uploaded it to the server long time ago. This file should be unzipped and dropped to bot's data directory. Bot's data directory may be opened with button in menu->tools. Old file means bot will not be able to select newer items in game.

Thanks Slav, that seems to work! (I actually grabbed the MarketHistory.xml from my other install since that was made a couple of weeks ago so should have all items)

So that makes me wonder if there is a way to backup/export autotrader data from one install to a new one? (so, the logged orders and all such things) What files can be moved? (For the same character, just a fresh VMWare install)

Also, because I experienced some lag issues using Win7 with VMWare, I am migrating bots to Win10 which seems to be more stable and much less lag, but I am having trouble with getting the bot to autostart, but more importantly, the bot doesnt update automatically. It also seems to no longer be able to manually update (Using the Menu->Tools->Update button) because there is no update executable available? Is this something that you could look into putting back into the client?

To transfer settings from one computer to another create folder, copy content of data folder from another computer and in menu->tools point out path to new data folder. Restart bot. If necessary redo first run as launcher will use old authentication tokens and may ask to validate new location with e-mail code.

Disable auto update function in Menu-Tools. Make new link on desktop to EPLauncher.exe which is in EP folder. Add parameters to a command line: e.g. "C:\Bot\EPLauncher.exe" /a /60 This will autostart bot when EPLauncher finish updating bot. If you place this link to startup folder bot will be updated and started on VM start.
