Bot doesn't check logoff timer very often when fighting in space. It gets kicked offline when downtime starts if it's in the middle of running an anomaly. This will become suspicious if the bot gets kicked off every day at exactly downtime.
My understanding is that bot only checks timer when docked in station, or rarely while in space. Just make bot check timer once every minute even when fighting in anomaly please.

check your timeZone bot dock for me everytime 10-30 minutes before Downtime.
check you settings and be sure Timezone is correct

I have bene playing Eve since day 1. It's very normal to get kicked off in the middle of a mission at downtime, let alone some other activity. Stop being a baby and sort your own timers out if you're worried.

If you have problems with timers and have set time zones right send me log file. Bot should check timers in space and return to station. If you think it is not, enable and test with "manual timer". Manual timer is activated/deactivated manually with Control+Shift+P
