hey

i've been ratting with a gila recently, and i've run across this problem

my Rapid Light Missile Launchers have 30km range
my drone control range is ~69km
my targeting range is 70km

My problem is, when I warp in and launch my drones, the bot doesn't actually use the "Engage with drones" action until the enemy is within 30km, even though it could do so as soon as the enemy is targeted and even though my "Drone Attack Range" is set to 69000


So far the only solution I've found is to set my "Max Attack Distance" higher, but this means I waste ammunition by starting up my missile launchers before the enemy is in range

Is there any way to have the bot send drones at 60km and turn on missiles at 30km? or do they have to be the same number? I feel like this must be an option somewhere and I'm just blind

edit: also, as a side-note, I can only target 6 ships at a time, and I've put "6" in the "Max Targets" setting, but the bot still tries to target 7 ships sometimes. I just spent some time looking through my logs for this and I can't find any specific time it happened, but I'll run the bot again later today and try to make a timestamp when it happens so I can give you some logs

I did not bother about drones for a long time and when I added drones did not rewrite old code. Now I mostly focused on abyss hunter due to higher profits. Going to release new version soon with fits for Gila

Set max targets to 5 then. Bot seems does not remember last targeting time and while NPC is in locking stage bot may count it as unlocked.
