Checking multiple bookmarks will slow down the process for others, who has only one bookmark per location. Can we just check top bookmark for "Approach" text after deletion?

The problem with only checking the top bookmark is that it assumes that all the bookmarks in the same belt/area of space will be clustered by name. The 2nd bookmark may be somewhere else, but bookmarks 3, 5, 6, 9, etc. may all be in the same spot. The goal is to prevent extraneous warping back to already-cleared belts.

Perfectly worded.
As for "slowing down the process for others." I agree faster is good, but efficient is better. How many BM's are we talking about on average that MOST people have? 3-5-12? Consider the time involved in checking 5 BM's for duplicate location vs warping to 4 empty BM's and there is a clear winner.
I will try my best to make a check BM module. It should be fun.

If you did it right, it could check 20 BMs in less than 10 seconds...

I may add this. Why to not add belt index to the end of bookmark name? This way bot may check just one top bookmark isn't it? If top bookmark is in approach distance - delete it and check next top bookmark.

That could work for belts, but it wouldn't for anomalies (unless you just decided Small = 1, Medium = 2, etc.), but the other issue with that is that it currently timestamps the jetcans (in innominate's default version) so that it gets the oldest cans first (before they pop). However, if it was more efficient in collecting them, that may not be an issue...
