Hey slav,

for a while ( can't tell you how long ) I got some strange problems.

When I'm starting Pilot and hitting continue, a rundll32 process starts which increases CPU usage to 100%. When I'm closing down Pilot, doesn't matter if i hit ALT+P first or straight hit the close button, that process stays in task menue and doesn't still uses all my CPUs with 100%.

Can't remember that from the past... First time I really remember that problem.... Think about 2 Weeks or so, when I died horribly in WOT because of lag and was searching the problem. Found that process and remembered I had Pilot running over night. What's the matter with that process, and since when does it exist?

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Is that proces a crutch down to 32 bit?

I dont have such process in my processes list. If you dont know what is this I would suggest to reinstall windows. Also you can try to kill it's process tree

Found it. Wasn't your Pilot. The Problem was caused my Microsoft itself!

Microsoft Game Explorer tries to update game information when you start one. EVE Launcher is started, so that bullshit tries to get info about it.

Due to a firewall reinstallation I've blocked rundll32.exe, because I didn't know what it is.

Looking at process explorer it shows a DLL with gux in the name or so. That's that fuckin explorer.

When it's blocked it tries to connect and retrieve information in a loop. Running all CPUs on full load!

Two ways to solve:

Open firewall for rundll32.exe....

Open Game Explorer Menue, go to Settings and switch update explorer OFF.

Tadaaa... It's gone.

Microsoft suckz...

a simple google search "(rundll32.exe)This file is part of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Rundll32.exe will actually execute functions in DLLs. If you are deleting files on your computer as a spyware removal protection method, then note that this is a required system file."
