you are right, in general for single account use on one PC your method is faster, but when you have several accounts logged in with EvePilot, e.g. one for courier missions and one for mining, then the change between the two EVE windows takes much more time than the gate approach in a speed fitted probe.

Furthermore, out of the same reason, i would suggest when reaching the destination system, to replace the "warp within 0 meters" through "dock". Is much faster, especially for multiclient use of EvePilot.
