Was watching it launch mining drone when there is combat drone too. It will opens the drone hold, types in mining drone, select all then launch. Found this slow when there is a very simple quick solution, group the drone, in 1 click you can launch them all and if you get in to combat with NPC its quick to swap, believe the grouping would put them in the same order, A first with Z last. Maybe something you could look into.

Tried to use grouping drones in the past. Groups did not save in settings and every eve start/drone refit bot had to move new drones to corresponding group. Easy click became difficult to code task or one time solution till you loose one drone.
