-
Mining bot. This is the main function of the
bot. It has been in development since September of 2009.
-
Multiclient mining. Run up to 10 clients at
the same time on the same PC. Every client has its own EVE Online window.
The client will be brought to focus (on top) in order to send commands to
the window. From the very beginning of the EVE Miner project, we have
focused on multiclient optimization. Speed of every one of it's functions
has been measured and bottlenecks were removed.
-
Mining drones support. It is possible, but not
recommended to mix mining and combat drones at the same time.
-
Fighting with drones. A fight is initiated by
a damage or jamming event. Drones will be launched for the duration of the
fight and returned to the drone bay when they are not required. If some of
the NPCs are out of the your drone control range and do not approach, EVE
Pilot will stop the fight by timeout and return your drones to the drone
bay. It is possible to launch drones in advance and dock them when warping
out. If drones lost - no problems, bot will reload them during the next
visit to station.
-
Full 0.0 mining support. EVE Miner will detect
hostiles in local and warp you to station or structure. Bot adopted to fight
with BS sized NPC using group fight mode, when several bots start to kill
NPC if one of bots is under attack. New active module system will allow to
safe capacitor during long fights. Bot detects long fights and finish fight
by cargoload event or if NPC out of range and do not want to
approach.
-
Deadspace support. Bot will not scan for
hidden location, but can use it to mine if you define bookmark. Bot will
check for NPCs and kill them to unlock acceleration gate.
-
Anomaly ice/ore mining support. Bot will
search for anomalies with predefined keyword and mine preferred ice/ore
automatically! Bot can use traveling route to find anomalies
faster.
-
Fleet mode support including remote fleet
support. Depending on the role of a client, it will autocreate new fleet or
join existing fleet. Bot will rejoin fleet after disconnect. Remote fleet
support will allow to join fleet you do not own on start.
-
Tanking. Passive and active, shield or armor
tanking can be used with active modules. Each module has a shield/armor
activation/deactivation level. You can enable advanced protection on higher
incoming damage.
-
Jetison container support. If enabled, bot
will jettison ore when no empty containers exist or use old container to
unload your ore.
-
POS support. You can use corporate hangar
array, compression array or one of large ship assembly arrays to unload
your ore.
-
Bot can unload ore to corphangar in the office
in station.
-
Survey scanner support. This unique feature
for EVE Pilot will measure the content of asteroids and switch off the
mining lasers when an asteroid is ready to pop. The correct mining amount,
laser duration and optimal range of your lasers are taken from the lasers
information window while you in space to include fleet bonuses. This feature
greatly improves the profit of your bot at the end of your EVE day, when
most of the asteroids have a reduced amount of ore.
-
Asteroid content vs asteroid size estimation.
If you don't use a survey scanner or some of the asteroids are out of range
of the survey scanner, EVE Pilot will estimate the content of the asteroids
and still deactivate the mining lasers when it is sure the asteroid is
empty. This method is still better than letting the full cycle complete when
the asteroid is nearly empty.
-
Optimized asteroid selection. Select +10% or
+5% variations of ore before the 0% ore. Each laser targets its own asteroid
if not specified otherwise. Mining drones use closest asteroid within
5km.
-
Mining crystals. Using and refitting of mining
crystals is possible if you mine one type of ore only.
-
Bookmarks. EVE Pilot can use station and belt
bookmarks, including rewarp bookmarks (at 150+km from
asteroids).
-
Multiple warps. EVE Pilot will warp
several times if one warp is not enough to get to the
destination.
-
Traveling function. EVE Pilot will travel
between solar systems using a set of conditions defined by user. You can
select to change solar system when no ore is left to mine, when no
profitable belts are left or by a specified timeout. Belts can be marked as
non profitable if the miner spend more time in a belt than a user defined
timeout value. Traveling function may be used to find anomalies faster for
anomaly mining.
-
Avoid NPC and PC. EVE Pilot can avoid mining
in belts occupied by players and/or NPC's. You can scan local after warping
in to a belt or constantly during mining. You can define the player ships to
avoid. Bot may detect and avoid using systems with
incursion.
-
Maneuvering during mining . Three levels of
maneuvering are available: advanced maneuvering will try to approach new
asteroids in advance, basic maneuvering will approach new asteroids when no
asteroids are left in optimal range of the lasers, and disabled maneuvering
for mining in area close to your bookmark only.
-
Final warp out time prediction. EVE Pilot will
start warping to the station when the cargohold and content of ore in the
lasers is predicted to be more than the cargo capacity of the ship. User may
define maximal carhoload percent to warp out earlier.
-
Emergency Procedures. Emergency warp out (EWO)
and emergency log off (ELO) procedures can be used to save your ship from
destruction using user define EWO and ELO shield/armor levels. ELO procedure
may be disabled in settings.
-
Pod detection. If you are ganked EVE
Pilot will dock your pod to station and shut down that particular
client, leaving any others active if you are running a multiclient
setup.
-
Custom delays and log off timers. Custom
delays can randomize the time used in station to unload ore and time to
initiate warp after undock. They help to mimic human behavior and save your
characters from trouble. Log off timers can be used to shut down any client
for a period of time, then restart it after the timer ends. You can setup up
to 6 timers.
-
Downtime detection. Automatically detect
downtime and connection lost events and return your miner back to work, when
server is online again.
-
Custom algorithm support. EVE Pilot accepts
custom algorithms in simple text format. Expand the functionality of the bot
to make undocumented actions! To write custom algorithms you will need to
learn how to use the algorithm editor. This feature enables unlimited
customization of EVE Pilot's behavior but can be difficult for novices.
Instructions on how to use the algorithm editor can be found in the algorithm editor
manual.
