The BeltMarker is an algorithm that visits systems via the
user defined traveling route. It erases all existing bookmarks then creates new
ones compatible with EveMiner. In comparison with
the autocreate bookmarks function of EVEMiner the BeltMarker can
monitor and restart active modules and can be used with a shuttle and The
EVEMiner's autocreate bookmarks function does not
delete current bookmarks.
-
The BeltMarker will always
delete current bookmarks and start making them again from
scratch.
-
If only one bookmark is present
in the system, BeltMarker will count it as a valid station bookmark and
use it.
-
If no bookmarks are present in
the system, BeltMarker will create a station bookmark for the top
station (when the station list is sorted by name).
-
The BeltMarker
will create bookmarks close the asteroids.
-
It will warp the ship from belt to
belt, switching to the asteroids view and will mark random
asteroids.
-
If you want more profitable mining it
is better to place the bookmarks manually, near groups of asteroids
although asteroids can change position in belts/system.
-
Belt marker will work in the
systems with station or POS only.
-
If BeltMarker visits a belt
and finds no asteroids, it will place a bookmark at the warp in
location and name the bookmark without a hyphen in its name
(like 5 Belt instead of 5-Belt). You can go
there manually and relocate the bookmark to an appropriate
location or delete it.
-
It is best to create bookmarks after
DT.
To start BeltMarker select the
function from the front page:

BeltMarker is written to create bookmarks
in multiple systems. If you only want to place bookmarks in one
system, create a traveling route with just one system in it. Having this
route is requirement. You must disable 'Cycle Systems' otherwise BeltMarker
will start to replace the bookmarks again once it starts it's
second cycle.
Below is an example of how the
traveling settings should look.
