If you are not familiar with abyssal ground content in eve online check wiki page before continue. Abyss hunter bot was developed to run abyssal deadspace missions. These missions give loot used to construct triglavian ships and modules as well as mutaplasmids used to upgrade your modules to abyssal type modules with improved characteristics. Income of this bot will depend on mission level you run, the higher level of a mission the better reward, the more dangerous NPCs and more expensive fit you need to survive. To start using abyss hunter you need hunt bot license. You can test bot with trial license too, but if your trial time (2h since bot start) ends while you are in abyssal deadspace, bot will initiate disconnect and you may loose your ship. You can also start abyss hunter with trader's license as it is universal and may be used with any of bot types.

Abyss hunter bot works with two systems and stations. First station is a trade hub with manufacturing facility where you refit, reload, manufacture and trade. You may create station bookmark in a system with your trade hub. Station bookmark goes first in locations window. At first bot will travel to your refit station. If current ship is not recognized as a ship for missions, bot will purchase new ship, implants, modules and rigs. Bot will fit new ship corresponding to your fitting plan, and, if necessary, inject implants before jumping to a new ship. When everything is ready, bot will travel to a system where you do missions. 

Second station is repair and drone reload station. It is located in the same system where you run missions. Drop drones to this station in advance if you find that bot loose drones. This system needs two green bookmarks. First bookmark is station bookmark, placed near repair station. Second bookmark is a safe spot bookmark. Bot will warp here to open portal to abyssal deadspace. You should place this bookmark far from other objects or portal will fail to open. Systems with security status 1.0 and 0.9 canot be used to run missions. Check table below.

You can also run bot in the same system without traveling. This way you need only two bookmarks in selected system. First bookmark is station bookmark, second bookmark is mission bookmark. Chances to be scanned and suicide gunked in trade hub system are higher although. If this station is not a trade hub, you should drop all fit to this station in advance. 

Select abyss hunter algorithm to open settings.

If you are new user, it is recommended to use presets. Click 'Settings' button and open 'Simple Start' extended panel

SOLO: We have prepared presets for corax, worm, hawk, hookbil, retribution, gila and imperial navy slicer. Select your ship and click button to load settings, then restart bot.

• Create Jita 4-4 Caldari Navy Assembly Plant bookmark. This station is used to refit our ship. Make sure this bookmark is first blue bookmark and located in first subfolder (in our case its name is Default) in Personal Locations folder.
• Select system with 0.8 or lower security near Jita. In our case it is Sobaseki. Create station bookmark in this system and several mission bookmarks. Station bookmark must also be first.
  
  
  
• Define system name (in our case Sobaseki) in general settings:
  
  
  
• If you use fit with drones (worm or gila) drop caldari navy hornets for worm and caldari navy vespas for gila to station in selected system (Sobaseki). In this case bot will add missing drones without full refit procedure in Jita.
• Jump to selected ship, remove rigs if present, if used fit drones: caldari navy hornets for worm or caldari navy vespas for gila.
• Worm fit uses Inherent Implants 'Squire' Power Grid Management EG-603. If you have different implant installed in slot #6 you should unplig it. Gila uses implants for shield regeneration and shield capacity. These implants are not obligatory, but increase chances to survive in case of disconnects and recommended. 
• Complete first run. After first run bot is ready to work. Start it and wait while bot complete to fit your ship. Pause bot with control + P when undock started and check if all modules are online. If not, level skills and online modules manually. Bot does not detect offline modules. If you use omega clone make sure it is not expiring.
• At least 150 DPS is required for T0 missions, 200+ DPS for T1.
• Missle flight distance for hawk should be 39 or more km. Level missle flight distance at max and ship speed. Speed is required to avoid critical damage from short range NPCs.
• If you see that worm fit timed out, switch to exotic filaments and caldari navy scourge missles. These filaments were expensive at the moment if fit creation (200k+) and we used cheaper gamma filaments as a standard
• Gila fit is alfa friendly fit, working with all relevant alfa skills at max. Omega fit is the same as alfa, but uses T2 launchers which require more training.
• If you maxed your omega skills you can use Gila T3 omega fit for T4 exotic missions. Update your settings:
• Remove loot during fight option, this will increase your DPS.
• Switch filament type to Raging Exotic Filament
• Buy filaments manually and drop to Jita or update max filament price and quantity in settings

TRIO: When you use trio fits you need 3 virtual machines (or computers), one VM for each frigate.

• Map shared folder as a disk drive. Make sure you are able to read and write to this folder from each virtual machine. A file created in one machine should appear in another machine.
• Open shared settings->error corrections->External Vars Directory and define a path to a folder in this shared drive in each VM
• Load hawk tank settings in VM1, DD1 settings in VM2 and DD2 settings in VM3.
• Create bookmarks for each account in trio using the same principle as for solo setup. Make sure you have the same position for a bookmark in space used by all members of a fleet. Trio use one mission bookmark only.
• Jump to hawks or hookbils and create first runs for each fleet member.
• Tune bots to start at the same time using timers. Check that time synchronization via internet enabled.

It is necessary to add that Abyss Hunters have been banned during the last year (ban waves every 3 months) and the only accounts that survived in a long run are those used for manual gameplay.
