I have the opportunity to place 305 purchase orders, but the bot usually only uses about 100. Why is that so with me?

Record log file and send it to me (check link in my signature). Need to check your settings and how bot scans ISKs in your wallet.

Mine also does the same thing. I have under 200 orders to use and about 30b, it will keep 50 open orders and leave 10b in my wallet, for over a month now.

What is autotrader finds only 50 profitable items worth trading? I need log file to check this. Try using wealthy mode, it has less restrictions (more competitors allowed, less minimal profit). Finally you can use standard trader and distribute any ISK quantity manually.
