There are two hotkeys: Control+P to pause and Control+Shift+P for activation of manual timer. Manual timer may have properties "idle" and log-off (when idle unticked) timer and require activation in timers setting panel. Trader is checking timers after current work complete.

By color of a googles of evepilot in task bar (paused = red, unpaused = blue). When timer if active you will see tooltip on the top of desktop with info. Also you may open logger and see what is going on. Logs are quite informative.

You dont need to update market info frequently for items if you intall buy/sell orders. Bot copies latest info to market export directory automatically. You may also increase mouse speed and decrease delays in settings, if this will not generate any errors due to lags.
