I am running the bot for the first time with the first time option, but it is stuck at the character selection screen and the status says that it ti waiting for the screen, which is already there.

The only thing i did different to the tutorial is, that I am running Windows8. Is that the problem?

Yes, there is no easy way to make a screen of a window in windows 8 and include content of layered windows. Old methods do not work all the time. One method exists which uses magnifier function of a windows, but I did not figure out how to port this method to C#. Another way is to send printscreen command to eve and take a screencapture from clipboard. But this will also create a file in documents/eve/capture/screenshots and may not be considered as a good workaround. So atm wiondows 8 is not supported. May be later when IT community will post good solutions, new code examples to help other developers with this task I will add windows 8 support. Invention of something basic is not my way.
