VM 15 setup not working for me 2 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Anyway to correct this? From the guide, it doesn't work step by step anymore. I used to follow along and everything worked and now I see post saying VM 15 doesn't support the right DX version.

1) If you have windows 7 OS, you need 16.1 version of vmware workstation + some tweaks + vmware tools with dx11 support. If you use windows 10, use latest version of vmware workstation. Minimal version is 16.2
2) Using vmware is not safe. CCP detect vm and this is huge flag to check your bot. I did another tool to hide vm traces, but don't release it publicly as CCP may read forums. Contact me by telegram
