Why not use the Jump/dock button instead of Warp to?
I only ask because (and im sure this problem is only restricted to me) but when im using vmware i find that the distance column and some other parts of the eve client are no updating. e.g. the warp bar not changing back after a warp has finished so the but trys to click "warp to" but its already sitting at the gate so it cant warp.
Im gonna try re-install eve and see if that matters. it doesnt happen when im not running the client in VMware

I had a similar situation using vmware a while back. for me it turned out to be a matter of not dedicating enough resources to the vmware.
How many vms are your running at the same time? ( I found dedicating a single core to the machine (even on dual or quad core machine only do one, and 2 gigs of ram eve runs well)
