I have tried several times to run the first run however it has failed each time. Using vmware setup the way the guide says to have it setup. thanks for you help.

To be of any help you should probably provide your log files to Slav, check his signature for the data how to send him the log files.

As far as the topic goes, we can only assist you if you actually mention where the problem is, without additional data its hard to do so.

my bad. logs have been sent to slav. the first run will go through once say it failed then go through a second time and then shut down.

I'm having a similar issue running courier first run in vm, it gets to the section where it is amending shortcut keys and I believe it then attempts to undock whilst updating the shortcuts, the eve screen goes completely black and hangs and then an EP error message comes up saying that the vm was setup incorrectly - however I have followed all instructions and have ran vm for autotrader no issues (although appreciate this didn't undock). I am running the courier outside of vm with no issues at all
