I've played EVE off and on for probably 15 years now.

At one point I ran 5 mining bots, that helped support my pvp addiction (I wasn't very good, lost a lot a ships).

Anyway, I recently came back to the game, and while I still have my 9 accounts, they are all linked back to my main in one way or another. I'm contemplating spinning up 3 or 4 new (clean) accounts to start mining with. I've already read quite a bit from the forum, and found the FAQ, and Innominate's Tips, Tricks, quite helpful and informative.

Would it make sense to put all of them into a single Corp? While they will primarily mine, I will play each of them manually periodically, and at some point will branch out to other functions available from Eve Pilot.

My second questions is fully dependent on the first. If creating a Corp for my miners is okay, what is the risk of having them join a Corp that is run by one of my existing alts, that is not botting?

P.S. I have not picked EP yet, I've been monitoring the forums for a few weeks now, waiting for the Photon changes to smooth out before giving it a try.

Making bot corp is not good idea, besides if these bots will be linked other way (IP, hardware, cc info etc). I would not do this. As well as I would not link bots in the first place.

I did not receive ban reports of "proper" miners for many years already. "Proper" I mean not linked to other bot types and not running for more then 12h/day (including manual playtime). That does not mean CCP cannot detect bots, they are not interested to detect bot miners as they are not used in RMT: higher requirements to start new bot with the same income in comparison with e.g. abyss bots or faction warfare bots. Miners like AFK activity. To distribute bot miners and afk miners need to check each account activity for more days and this is time consuming, while not so efficient to CCP.

I would create new accounts for other functions to not mix ban chances. Traders may be used safely with miners although.
