I tried the Trader for the first time and had some trouble setting it up, but the most bothering thing happening is that it erased ALL my settings. A warning for first time users would be nice:

- All chat channels are gone
- All settings are gone

Is there any way to restore them? An intial tipp to run Trader with a copy of the Eve directory would have been nice too

It is not possible to restore settings after first run. There is a note in manual about using bot with separated eve install:
It is good idea to copy EVE Online's installation directory to a separated folder and use this copy for botting. EVE Pilot will erase your EVE Online settings, by using a copy your regular game play settings will not be affected.

Thanx for the quick response. Another thing I didnt know is that the thing actually undocks while configuring, which wasnt nice as I was in Jita ANd at war :/

Is all this really necessary just for the trade bot?
