I have min volume unchecke, max price change set to 15%, sell if profit at 5% and buy if profit at 12%. I have an item with massive margins where someone is barely undercutting me. But the tool will not update the sales order to the top of the list. Why is this?

Did you check log, it is the only source of the info you need.

Bot works on first come first serve basis. If older order present then your order and this older order is not abandoned (updated less then 12h ago) bot will not outbid it. Second, your orders has update count and if this update count increase update intervals also increase. Bot may not outbid order because it is too small or price change is too big. Some parameters are hardcoded, some like sell profit or min vol to outbid may be changed.
