I havent played Eve in about 1 year so I know there are changes to station trading. Is eve trader still profitable? I used auto trader a while back, but I read station trading is non-existent now.
How is the bot being used now a days?

Trader needs perfect character now as relist fee eats all profits if you pay 2% for update. To reduce relist fee during buy order stage bot may be used with citadel and collect all staff to Jita. Freighter is recommended. And as soon as we have no margin trade you need more free ISKs. It is not 4x more as many traders left market, 2x is more likely.
Bot start to work using "first come first serve basis". It will not outbid orders besides if they are newer then yours or abandoned. SO yes, bots started to grief players who are trying to outbid all orders. If players not trading using "first come first serve basis" they have strong competition from bots and loose more money.
