So how much time do you think needs to be spent watching or how often should we check on it It totally depends on the isks you have in rotation. With less then 1kkk you should check orders and create new at least 3 times a day, with 3+kkk ones per day is enough, but you increase order volume instead. The more isks you have in rotation the better your income and less frequently you need to manually update orders. Dont start trading if you have less then 100m, better to rise first isks with miner.

Ok slav.. Bunch of questions for you.

1.
Can the trader be used to maintain competition against other orders affecting the station you are in only?
for example i am 15 jumps away from jita and only want to compete vs orders that are 15 jumps or more. (typically set at 20 jumps and regional respectively) and any other orders affecting the current station too. if not is there any possibility this could be added?

And also.. Is there a function yet that allows multiclient use of the trader bot to maintain the orders on the above basis across various characters? for examplee it checks and amends all orders on one char then when finished switches to the next and goes on from there?:

2.
Are there any plans to add any statistical analasis functions to the bot that would allow user to see more deeply into what has happened during the time the bot has been running and what their profits for each day were etc.

3.
How does the bot handle things like the 50 percent warning message, operation delay error screen and the dreaded downtime notice?

4.
My experience coding my own private bot presented problems where the bot would sometimes purchase something cheap for more isk when it was meant to when the order list had moved due to an item sale etc. how is this dealt with?

5.
Are there any plans to add the ability to have the macro automatically sell purchased items from buyorders and then automatically place a new buyorder (if there isnt one already still there) with a preset quantity? this function can be VERY useful when the bot is uded with dedicated trading characters who have no other assets in region.

You can compete withing system or whole region. Dont know how to implement competition withing several systems range. Need to have autopilot function implemented.

And also.. Is there a function yet that allows multiclient use of the trader bot to maintain the orders on the above basis across various characters? for examplee it checks and amends all orders on one char then when finished switches to the next and goes on from there? With one license - no, if you have several licenses why not. Just start as usual multiclient.

Are there any plans to add any statistical analasis functions to the bot that would allow user to see more deeply into what has happened during the time the bot has been running and what their profits for each day were etc.At first I will add market analyzer which will collect information about profit and competition (number of orders updated regularly withing defined time) to get an idea what to select for buy-resell ops. I believe there are many third party analyzers about your profit over time exist which use CCP API functions to gather information.

How does the bot handle things like the 50 percent warning message, operation delay error screen and the dreaded downtime notice?
50% warning message will be closed in the next version. Operation delay will be just closed and bot will skip this line this round, DT message is the same as operation delay. Window will be closed and if bot will stuck somewhere show log and I will fix.

My experience coding my own private bot presented problems where the bot would sometimes purchase something cheap for more isk when it was meant to when the order list had moved due to an item sale etc. how is this dealt with?
Miner remembers status of orders and position. If price scanned from order line differs from price predicted by miner, miner generate desyncronization error and skip all sell or buy orders including this one. Another fail safe measure is comparison of "price change" value in modify order window with predicted from old and new order prices. This one is very sensitive comparison also.

This will depend on popularity of trade bot.

I think the popularity of the bot will depend on the price and what features it has.

See if you can get the bot to take in a list of items. Then go from region to region and put up buy and sell orders for those items. Thats a bot i would pay good money for.

The bot atm is a good start. and the next step as you said is getting the recommendation of items to trade.

From the other hand people who involved into large scale market operations and update orders manually will find this bot very useful. $15 is very democratic price for a bot making $15 in isks for one day in good hands. Of cause if I make bot with one big button "start" this bot gains a few more customers
