Quick question for the Trader/Courier combination.

Do I have to set up Trader and Courier start points as different home stations? Because I'm not sure what will happen to the Storyline Mission ore if Trader and Courier operate from the same home station.

Won't Trader try to sell the ore if it is in my item hanger when it runs?

This does not guarantee that bot will reach destination although. Traveling may be interrupted with downtime or DC. Need to add traveling function to trader algorithm itself, but this will require a patch as AT is non traveling trader.

Courier's home station is a station where you store ore. Don't set it to a station where you trade and bot will not sell your ore. The only important is faction of home station. Also home station may not have storyline agents.

If you enable courier interface you disable ore trade in autotrader. Don't need to use custom algorithm from the past. Autotrader was already updated and has built in possibility to run courier missions. Just switch to courier UI, set everything, test that setting are OK with test run (AT license can start courier too). You need first run made with courier selected as algo and you need to sit in proper ship, because trader will not refit ship for courier. Switch to trader, enable courier interface, split time between trader and courier in settings and run.

Ah - OK. So let me just clarify. I choose a particular client I'm going to use (say 'Current Client 1'). In that client I choose Courier funciton, and run first run. I make sure all courier settings are as I wish. Then, after first run, I stay in same Current Client 1, but switch function to Autotrader now, and then enable courier settings in Autotrader menu?

No - that was wrong. Think I now have this figured out:

1. Choose Client for Autotrader (say 'Current Client 1').
2. In that Client, choose Courier as the active algorithm. Now configure Courier Settings as desired.
3. In that Client, choose Autotrader as active algorithm. Now configure Shared Settings and Autotrader Settings as desired.
4. Make sure, in Autotrader Settings, that Courier module is selected to be active.
5. Now run First Run with Autotrader as active algorithm/client.
6. Now ready to run Auotrader bot with 'Continue'.
7. Win EVE!

If you already made first run for courier you don't need second with autotrader. FR makes in-game settings. AT require not so much to sit in station. Courier's first run have all settings required for AT. If AT does not work with courier's first run report with log file as per link in my signature to check what is wrong.
