choosing which character to login with. If I select main, left or right, it dosent seem like it cares, all it does is press enter game. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?You should select proper position before first run. If when you click continue your miner/trader is not main redo first run and adjust position of your character.

Also if you dont want to redo first run you may adjust position manually. Pause bot on character selection screen, select proper char and enter the game. Close eve. In tools->press copy settings button. But you will need to adjust position during first run later.
