I got a Looter bot for my miners because common sense and experience tells us that having a hauler to transport ore will mean more time in belt mining. However, having done some tests, it seems that when I attempt to use the looter and have my miners jetcan their ore, I end up with a *substantially* lower overall yield at the end of the mining period. I can attach logs if need be, but is this a case where the multiclient looter is taking up too much time and killing my miners' efficiency? They're all mining in a single anomaly (and I manually added the BM to the looter), and the reactivation time is low enough that it shouldn't be missing any cans. Can you speculate on why this might be happening? Do you have any recommendations?

Can you post your m3 stats?

Get the total time your bot is online for a day and subtract 15 minutes for each time it logs on.
Track the total m3 for each day over 3 days.

For example here is what my bots got for the last 3 days. All my bots mine different ores with T2 crystals, making it easy to track. I have a maxed Booster and a Looter. All characters on different VMs. (I estimate 130k m3 is from my mining drones script.)

I found the issue, it was my error, not the bot (sort of). My typical method when the ore anomaly respawns is to create a new bookmark and share it with my looter and other miners. The selected tank miner generates its own bookmark, and I thought I was writing the keyword list to only hit on this anomaly, so they would all end up in the same place. That was not the case. It was reading *terms as valid, despite that * marking it as "unprofitable." (e.g., *Small would mean it would pick a Small anomaly over a Large or Enormous one). Perhaps I misunderstood the purpose of that tag, but either way, now I only include the name of the anomaly. The problem was, basically, that my main tank was going to some other anomaly and jet-can mining all day, but the looter would never go there to pick it up. Just losing lots of ore in space!
