My hisec setup is:

Hulk mining and an Orca hauling with the Looter algorithm and at the same time fleet boosting (I have perfect booster skills).

The procedure right now is as follows:

Hulk completes one cycle and jettisons the ore.

Looter undocks and warps to the can and loots it.

While the looter is round and about, it activates the boosting module.

Looter gets the can in one scoop and still has a LOT of space left in hold (not to mention the ore hold).

Looter warps back to the station, unloads and sits tight until miner drops next can.

This procedure is very ineffectual, a lot of boosting time is wasted, which means my potential output is decreased by at least 50%.

For hisec mining the following would be desirable:

Looter (Orca) should sit in the belt and wait for it's cargo and ore holds to get full, while boosting at the same time. When the holds are full, it should warp to station for unloading and warp back to belt immediately. I think this could be achieved simply by adding a check for if cargo and ore hold is at say 95% then warp back for unload.

Is anything like that in the planning stage for the bot?

I have the same problem with Bestower, when it's not 90% full and when looter tries to "Loot all" on a can while he doesn't have enough space left it keeps trying again and again.

Today after 8hrs botting I didn't even make 50M with 3 miners and Orca and hauler ..

Check this thread about ORCA looter algorithm. I did not check this algorithm.

Bug with looter overload was fixed in latest version of the looter, please check it.
