Just wondering if anyone has done any research on which ship would be best for tier 4 courier missions? warp speed, align speed, ship size. I'm currently using a Bestower with almost 24km3 of cargo space and it's never even half full doing 2 corps tier 4 missions. I'm about to be able to use the Iteron Mark V but I don't see the need with the bot. I'm sure if I can get a ship that barely fits everything and is fast as possible the isk income will jump up. Let the debate begin

Just to say again, this if for tier 4 missions.
Ive read using a Inerceptor like a Ares or Taranis will work. However, can you get the cargohold up to 8km3 which seems to be the MAX for just courier missions? (i'll do the storyline mission manually.)

There is a page on Courier Settings called Fine Tuning which has a number of settings, only one of which is likely to be different per ship, this is the Warping Time which has a default of 60 seconds.

In Fittings under navigation, my ship has 4 values listed.

1. 1. Maximum Velocity of Ship in m/sec.
2. 2. Mass in t.
3. 3. Inertia Modifier in %.
4. 4. Ship Warp Speed in AU/sec.

The formula for alignment is
Time = -ln(0.25) * Inertia Modifier * Mass / 1.000.000

The formula for travel time is community.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?...amp;threadID=1514884

We have to calculate the alignment time and the travel time and consider what proportion of the overall process is variable by ship.

Not finished yet. I have some more figuring to do.

I never made missions for 1-2 corps. If you do missions for faction (all corps) you need as much cargo as you can make. I think in your case answer will depend on particular place where you do missions. You may find station with more agents in the range of 2-3 jumps from the station and you will need bigger cargohold. I have added block to filter by corporation at the very end and manuals were written for standard setup where you level faction standing to take more agents.

So Iteron Mark 5 (40k) will be more profitable then Mammont (28k)?

I finally calculated Warp Time for a few different Minmatar ships.



Warp Times for Fine Tuning

• 42 for Shuttle
• 56 for Wreathe
• 60 for Mammoth
• 74 Mastadon
• 43 Prowler
• 184 Fenrir

OK, Shuttle is too small and Fenrir is too slow. I think the real question may be how much cargo space do you need. Would a Prowler with 9km3 be usable?
