You dont need to. Disable "never drop standing" option and bot will reset missions in case of error for you. Courier is very stable bot. I know only one bug in a courier which is difficult to fix. Bug appeared 1-2 times a month only and related to a lag of a journal with missions.

a few stats from one day:
- 13.000.000 isk mission reward
- 12.500.000 isk bonus reward
- 65.000 LP
level 4, 1 - 15 missions at the same time, 40k cargo with iteron mark V. only normal missions no storyline. ~11 hours

I think the courier bot is the best one if 1. Your lazy like me 2. Want to play it safe. 3 Least likely to get banned imoa. But the main reason I ran it for 1 - 2 months was to get a 10 faction standing in a trade hub for a char. The faction standing combined with an Elite trader char and the trader Bot makes it massively more competitive than other characters. But with Plex at 1.3 bill a throw atm that edge makes a big difference.
