Look for a white pixel just to the left of the bottom of the module. When it's running, it has the white circle going around it. If you look for that white pixel (which will only be in the "activation ring") immediately after where it starts (at the 6 o'clock position), you will get a pretty reliable test. Slav does the same thing for detecting module activation. The only thing this won't work for is modules that activate but don't cycle, like a Cloaking Device.

After trying multiple methods this is what I came up with. Works with 100% accuracy. Even spun the camera around and had the modules in black space, on planets, against the sun, against a nebula. this seemed to work best. Plus it is short and sweet.

Code:

;Module# := OGModuleCheck(0000,0000) ; Usage
OGModuleCheck(X,Y){
PixelGetColor,PixelColor,X,Y
PixelGetColor,PixelColor1,(X+1),Y

Diff := ABS(PixelColor - PixelColor1)
If (Diff > 2000000){
Return "On"
}
If (Diff < 2000000){
Return "Off"
}
}

Very nice

One note though: if you found an anchor, you could calculate the distances for each rack (high/med/low) and each module (1 - 8) and make a function that would reliably check whether any module was on or off, rather than needing to determine the exact coordinates up to 24 times.

That will come in version 2.+

I am done with On-Grid Version 2.0 I am quite proud of myself. Even made a gui to run set up, and to use to change settings.

Later versions will have an on-grid booster that checks BM's for profitability before warping and calling for the miners.

Or I'll add salvage drones. That should be fun.

Wow! Awesome A GUI?? Did you use that tool to build it? Did you have programming experience beyond AHK, or do you just learn extremely quickly?

Salvage drones would be a neat edition, and useful for anyone who bothers to use the huntbot as well (or rats manually and uses a looter/salvage bot to clean up after themselves...)
