I'm not sure if this has been suggested before but I just thought up of this idea in the auto bookmarks creation thread.
On warp in to a belt not using 200km bookmarks, check if minimum number of asteroids within optimal. If all or most asteroids out of max range (optimal + max approach dist), update the bookmark for that belt. So on the next warp in, ur ship will be right on top of the asteroids and start mining immediately.
Sequence:
Warp to belt (implemented)
Check if minimum number of asteroids within optimal (implemented)
Delete and recreate bookmark if minimum number not met (not implemented)
Calc belt to warp and warp to another belt (implemented)

Not sure if this makes sense. What if another bot/player is mining in the same area? Or you have exhumes/industrials checked to avoid? Your bookmarks would be wrong anyways. Use 200km bookmarks, they are much better than auto-created ones. Even though you have to spend an hour to manually bookmark 10 systems.

Ok obviously eveminer would check if any ships set to avoid are there before checking out the roids. And the whole bookmark updating idea is to prevent the ship from warping to parts of the belt which are already mined out. And yes I know 200km bookmarks works better but it is not in Slav2's consideration to do auto 200k BMs.
