TOPIC: Feature Request: Ship Profiles
#62260
Feature Request: Ship Profiles 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Greetings,

I assume the workaround for this is to use a Client, but that requires the very time consuming First Run process.

It would be nice if for each Client, we can configure different ships and settings. This way we can simply configure each ship, modules, and other settings then just go. A drop down for this would be nice. I have several ships, primarily for mining, each I use for different activities and each has different locations, travel settings, and equipment. Instead of going through and changing the settings each time and hoping I get it all correct, having a saved configuration would really make this a hell of a lot more usable.

Actually you can open data folder of the bot and copy it several times to different locations. Then switch data folder bot currently use:

Also you can use different clients. Start from first run on client 1, then open data folder and copy content of client1 to client2 to not repeat run first run on client2. This may be confusing if you use multiclient mode and need to activate/deactivate several clients at the same time. If you need more clients start bot with parameter /nX, where X is the number of available clients + 1. If you want to start bot with 6 clients (+1 client used for tests in test stand), parameter is /n7
