This is most likely a very old request.
Were does one find out when this is taking place? That way I can park my ships since I lost 2 last month to this.

Thanks

Hulkageddon IV is scheduled to start in February. But, I've noticed an increase in miner/hauler ganks over the last few weeks. Many of the -10.0 pirate crowd are starting early.

Watch the eve online forums Crime & Punishment section, and this thread in particular:

Hulkageddon is put on by Helicity Boson, whose blog is:

Okay. I have a more stupid question than you:

What's Hulkageddon?

I'm presuming this is some sort of witch hunt for Hulks?

It's an approximately bi-annual contest run by Helicity Boson, with the goal of killing barges, exhumers, and orcas. It runs for about a month, and the winners get prizes. The prize list so far is pretty nice, so expect lots of suicide ganks starting Feb 1.

Confirmed prizes so far:
*NEW!*
-Triple CCC Chimera (Cyber Ten)

-Nidhoggur (Piscis & Amanda eidolon)
-Navy Omen ( Zane Nucleus )
-Republic Fleet Firetail (Zane Nucleus )
-Faction Battleship of choice (New Eden Renegades)
-Strategic Cruiser with 5 subs of choice (Ja'Li)
-Trimarked Navy Megathron (joe intaki)
-Armageddon Navy Issue (kikkoman6)
-Hulk (Eleanore Harena)
-500 million isk (De'Veldrin)
-1 billion isk (thehermit)
- 1 fitted Dramiel with C-type mwd (amanda eidolon)

I guess I'll be mining with my cruiser for February. -_-

Or a Frigate ??

Could we get some good fittings for Hulks? or is it just pointless to try and tank them?
