After losing my barge in null sec after just failing to make the warp-out ( a milli-second!) after a neutral (in a Hecate) was detected in local, I wondered if the manoevering section could have a 'align to station' (aligns then stops after 3 or 4 seconds) check-box once the bot commences mining?

I appreciate there is always a risk in low/null sec but if a barge is at least pointing in the direction of warp-out when a threat enters local it could save a good few vital seconds.

If stopped, it takes the same amount of time to align, regardless of what direction the ship is facing.

Which is why I added "align to" to my ongrid booster project. The booster pilot aligns to top BM every time he warps to grid.

I did have the miners do this too, but it looks way too botlike in high sec to have everyone align every few minutes.
