So, when you finish this new bot are you thinking about add new booster and drone miners support?
I still think you can sell a booster licenses as a new product, as it really is, and give to everyone that buys the new bot, mining drone options for the miner licenses.
And before someone come here and say that should be free, think twice. He will never do that much of work for free, and to be honest neither do you.

Is this part of mining bot now? I would like to manually run tank character on my main computer while miners run in VMs

You will need a program which will edit xml file in external directory to send info about a manually operated tank to other clients.

I would write a script in ahk. A custom program is needed to edit custom xml.
