Hello. i currently have three accounts running and two of them are mining. I would like to fleet mine with an orca that is looting the jet cans. do i just need a 3rd miner account? or do i use another bot? i also need the orca to use its mining buffs for my other accounts while this mining operation is going on.

First, setup bookmarks (perhaps in Corp folder) and copy them across to all accounts in use. Unfortunately, as far as I have bene able to see, I cannot loot and boost at the same time. I normally leave my Orca boosting afk for other people to join fleet, however, just using 3 barges/exhumers would be more profitable for yourself under this scenario.

For what it's worth:

Client 1 + 2 = EVEMiner as usual
Client 3 = EVELooter
Booster
Module Fitting: H1, H2, H3 = Active, Rule 1 (Orca with 3 Boosts - best run up is the two important mining ones and a shield resist link)
Module Rules: Set Rule one all the way to 100% (both little sliders to the max)
Looter
Check bookmarks to use are same as amount of bookmarks used by miners. This looter will run between all bookmarks until full, but the boosts will of course be down whilst it is warping about the place. Do not set a timer, as it will dock until the timer is up (I think - experiment with this).

awesome this really helps. i can see while the bot loots and unloads you would loose the boost. I am 2 days away from an orca on one account and my other two accounts are on the way for the exhumers so i hope i can figure out how to get the max from my online time each day. thank you very much for the info!

Miner 1 & 2 set to jet can mining

Pilot the booster manually and just have an MTU setup some distance from warp-in.

The distance allows you to see incoming gankers that just want the killmails. Also allows the pickup of cans that might be dropped when you're doing a station run.

PS. Best way to set this up would be to use MWD frigate, burn maybe 80km from your mining spot.

- Bookmark this location as your booster's spot.
- Warp Orca here and deploy MTU and create advert
- Start bots with MEMBER fleet settings and make note of your fleet name here
- Bish bash bosh don't forget to set them to jet can mine, use only one bookmark.

Basically;

(This is getting complicated lol)

Make, say 5 bookmakers for your miners. 200km bookmarks work best. Make these, perhaps 1,2,3,4,5 and exactly the same for both. The ships will warp to 200km from the belt, then warp directly to the asteroids thus always something to mine.

Set your Orca bookmarks to NO MORE THAN 80km from the BELT. That way your MTU is always in range of all the asteroids in the belt, but no-one can simply warp in on your MTU and shoot it. They gotta warp in, burn to it, by which time you've hopefully spotted them and pulled it and you can use your tractor beam if fitted. I usually don't have one I usually have the shield resistance boost alongside yield and range.
