good idea but how does this work? when the bot arrives at the warp gate with it just automaticly use it?

There is a setting in maneuvering tab - check for acceleration gates. Enable it and bot will check for a gate if no asteroids found in bookmark location. Bot will kill NPCs if present and enter gate (closest one in each pocket).

My two cent:
Always tank Kinetic + Thermal damage in mid, due to blaster catalysts and try to use a Damage control. If you are going solo in excumer and you have many gankers in the area where you are mining, use Skiff.

I guess that in a level 1 storyline combat mission the mining bot can actually complete the mission while mining it!

Dont kill all NPCs then. Set passive tanking mode with high damage (like 50%). Bot will check for NPC when gate is locked and when received 50% damage of a shield.
