I was wondering if it was possible to make a priority Ice>Ore. Mining asteroids, scans a ice anom, docks clicks fitting strip, clicks default custom named ice fit equips it...ice belt no longer exists dock station fitting strip ice fit, use saved default asteroid equip, undock mine ore so on... Is this a possible feature that could be added? I have never tried Ice mining and don't know if this feature exists. I have read the manual nothing there.

Hi, bot does not use refits and I dont plan to add them in the nearest future.

I am kind of confused then, how is this bot viable while ice mining? I have never ran a ice miner so I am speaking from lack of knowledge, could you explain a typical ice mining run time of 12 hours. Do I have to use two ships one ice and one ore, and if so doesn't that seem very bot-like. If ice belts spawn 4 hours after the last was depleted, does it just sit in station occasionally undocking to scan for an ice anom?

Yes, if you mine in the same system bot will undock from time to time and check fr ice anomaly. I think better to setup traveling route and mine in several systems with ice anomalies.
