Hi,
Here are some suggestions I can give to discuss about. Some have already been posted and I just adjusted them to my personal needs.

- Corp-Bm: often asked for but here another suggestion to implement it

using corp-bm but only a folder named after the system you are currently in. so You can have your bm more organized and ep knows which to use.


An alternative would be, that every client gets its own folder to use (fe: I use multiple clients and they mine in macks with t1-strips. When I want them all in one belt for max protection and to make it more look like not using a bot I create bm for them in different places of the belt, so that they don’t jump to one spot and mine more efficiently. With that option I could create all bm with one char and just have to copy them to the right folder)


A custom-bm to use as prime bm. F.ex: I fly with my fighter (manually) to an anormaly, kill the rats and see there are asteroids of what ever kind. I create a bm in corp-bm folder (fe:“1111-Ano;2222-Ano….”). When the bm appears in the folder on the other clients, they know theres a prime-bm to mine, fly in, rip the roids and go back to usual business, marking the bm useless. This would be interesting for scanned grav-sites, too.

- EWO-Hotkey. Might already exist but I didn’t find it out

- WH-Mode: also often asked for and also a suggestion to make it work

One client stays in orca or rorqual outside of pos-shield and boosts (needs 1 bm inside and 1 outside). Clients use corp-bm to mine the spawned belts and use d-scan while there. One bm is assigned as safespot, maybe it’s possible to align to it while mining but I think that would be too much. When d-scan shows scanner-drones, an ewo-sign goes out to miners, warping to safespot. The booster flys inside the shield using bm1. After the miners arrive at safe the booster checks overview for hostiles. When no hostiles are around, miners warp to the pos-shield. If hostiles are already around all clients except the booster log off. After a few minutes the booster rechecks its overview and d-scan an if its clear EP starts the clients again.

- Corphangar: please let the clients use corphangars on regular stations. If anything is important to make it more comfortable, it’s this feature

- Switching between modes during runtime

Is it possible to add an option to change between normal mining and jetcan mining while the bot is running? This is something I personally would like to see but maybe there are more who want such a feature. F.ex.: As said above I use multiple clients for mining and 1 client to boost in an orca in high-sec or a rorqual in 0.0. when I play by myself I use another account, that I don’t bot with. This char Is an allrounder and a great hauler. Jetcan mining is much more profitable as mining and flying to station, as we all know. When I setup EP for jetcan mining to play for some time with my other char as a hauler it takes about 20-30 min to get the miners to station, close the clients, setup EP to jetcan mining and restart the whole thing. It would be cool to be able to tell the bot:” I’m here now, drop your cargo from now on until I say you get back to normal mining”. I use them all in one belt anyway.

- Turning clients on and off during runtime

This is also something personal I would love to see added. Some of my clients I use for botting are skilled in other things like production or research (this option is also interesting for using alts on same account). When I want to do some research or production jobs or even when I need a better clone or whatever, it would be great to give the bot a sign, that it should deactivate client nr.x without trying to restart it. So I would be able to use it on another pc to do whatever I like and after that give the bot the signal, to activate client x again.

These are just some suggestions to make a great program maybe a bit better. Don’t misunderstand me, it is really good the way it is and it does its job. In my case without any problems so far. Maybe some want to comment about it or bring the thoughts to a way they might be implementable. Please don’t start flaming about it, Its just personal suggestions. If it’s not possible to realize there’s no need to call me stupid

About EWO hotkey. There is manual timer option. You activate manual timer in settings and switch it on or off with control + shift + p. Bot will log off or stay idle in station depending on your idle setting for manual timer. To login / unfreeze miner you dont need to restart bot, just click control + shift + p again.

About WH mode. Aligning to BM does not increase your warp out speed, besides if your speed is not zero at this time. How to use miner if you move to some bookmark I dont really know. As I was told you need to scan for an exit from other WH or empire to your WH only. If you have some entrance from your WH to other WH or empire and did not scan it down for 100%, corresponding exit does not exist yet. In my opinion it is simpler to check all signatures and find new one which is similar to hole by its strength then scan for any ships in your own system. Usually people dont stay in WH for a long time (besides if you use 5-6 class WH and deal with good alliances).

For us botters or "semi-botters" who use ep while beeing active and playing on an other account, a class 1-3 wh is not uninteresting. Going in for 2-3 weeks and mine the hell out of it. It's a niche and i don't think 99,9% of the botters would ever use it, so there's no hassle.

btw: is there a possiblilty to save different settings easily to switch via the dropdown on frontpage? fe: one miner-srkipt for hauling and one for jetcan.

You may use client 1 for hauling and client 2 for jetcan. Just activate only one client at a time. "Client" is a slot for settings.

ok, that's a possibilty for those who use 1-6 accounts with ep.
EP has the possibilty to use 12 clients.... i use it with 7miners and 1booster, so i would need 14 possible clients just for my miners to setup 2 different uses. that caused my question.
An alternative would be installing ep multiple times on the same pc and use the same licenses, wouldn't it?

Nope, you will need to switch path to data folder of the bot (w/o erasing content of cause) and create two data folders. You can switch used data folder in menu->tools.
