I'm sure I did something stupid and am just overlooking something I turned on. The bot is set to orbit asteroids while mining but every few seconds it selects a new rock to orbit. I've got a few bots in different VM's up and running and its the only one doing it.

Pretty sure I found the issue, I set it to orbit and when it bounces off a rock the speed drops drastically. If the speed drops low enough (below something like 70% max speed) the bot selects a new target to orbit, which can lead to more bouncing and more changing orbit targets, and more bouncing, and more changing, etc etc.

It is better to skip some difficult belts. Bot may get stuck in asteroids, besides if CCP changed warp mechanics.
