Hello,
If i want to clone a good working VM so i can run more.
What are the things to change\check to make sure they don't link to each other
The things i did for now:
1 Change the Mac on the new VM
2 Re-run VMSetup.exe
And maybe small request - can you make the VMSetup.exe better compatible with Win10?
I saw on the Win7Pro that at the end it should reboot the Winodws but in win10 it seems to create a error arround the installation of VC++ or something and not reboot.
Most things seems to install fine and are working but i am not sure what i am missing from the setup...
I'm using the Win 10 because the game stays smooth and no matter what i do in win7 it will run into fps\lag problems...

Windows 7 is recommended OS. Sometimes you may have problems with clipboard under windows 10 and bot fail to type something. Bot cannot switch parent process of eve launcher under windows 10. If you use windows 7 parent process is set to be explorer, like when you start launcher using shortcut from desktop. Windows 10 prevents this. Why to use windows 10 if you can use windows 7? VM normally should run in background.

I usually remove all devices from VM (CD, printer, sound, floppy, USB ports) and disable drag-n-drop and copy-n-paste in guest isolation options. And create snapshot after first run to roll back VM in case of a problems later.

VMSetup install different windows 7 64bit updates to be able to start eve launcher and .Net to start bot. Without those updates bot or evelauncher will not start or will show certificate errors

I have to use win 10 ltsc.
Non of the tricks above works for a vm under newer hardware...
spent really alot of time to make w7 work with no lags.
PS and havew to remove\disable nearly everything for w10 ltsc to work ok
