i have been away for few years
having on and off in eve but less on botting since my fleet went silent few years ago (when james strated his crusade against miners)


my last deployment was orca + miners in skiffs / macks
never used hulks/covetors due to kill risk



how safe it to return back ? ban/gankers etc
i saw also few things have changed in boosting

used to be in highsec ofc

i guess i would have to start with small amount of hours 2-3 day and than go bigger i guess till 10 hours per day

CCP mostly fight RMT bot farms now. Miners were not banned (as a banwave) during past several years already. I believe this is due to high false positive ratio. A lot of people mine (more then couriers, traders, faction warfare users all together) and distribute where is a bot and where is a player using algorithm is really hard task. Also miners usually not used by RMTers as they generate relatively low income. Pay for your account using real cache, check activity tracker and add more activities to mask bot and you are safe even with 12h day run.

Corresponding my last experiment (which was performed during 9 months) time/day does not increase or decrease a chance of a ban per ISKs generated. CCP will collect more data if you bot less, that is the difference.

p.s. To all readers to not get me wrong. This does not mean you can create brand new alfa account and run bot 12h/day. New alfa accounts checked separately using different approach. Turn to omega.

i had a "profesional team" which was already using t2 etc so it less the issue
but they were all mostly paid their usage from the mining with small profit
been mostly having some char which used as watcher incase anyone talking to my team

already been thinking if to get couriers instead and run missions would be more iskwise efficient and less require watching over

Courier used with omega account should have the same income as many years ago when I made tests. With new LP collection module courier should be more profitable then miner as you can sell LP for more then 1:1000 LP/ISK ratio. If you have several lifetime licenses better to switch activity and sometimes mine, sometimes do missions. Not so much players do 50+ missions every day
