Hi, new here. Also very new to how VMware works and how to install.
I did some reading on the FAQ page about how to set up the VMware but a lot of it is still confusing to me. Most of the information dates back to Windows 7 information. Mainly because some parts are out of date with lots of mixed information. Such as the update at the top for VM15 said to skip VMXsetup steps and create a new MAC address manually.(*EDIT* At which step am I supposed to change my MAC Address)
For Starters, the update says to use VMWare 15, (in the Winrar file, should I use the the VMWare-player, or the VMWare-workstation-full?
Step 2 says use windows 7 iso image (what about windows 10, where can I find?)
Step 7, which compatibility do I select when using VMware 15?
Step 11, says to use 1 processor and 2 cores (Update at the top says 1 CPU and 1 Core).
Step 26, about the evelauncher files (do I copy and paste, or place the original?)
Step 28 place VMXsetup and run. (I assume this is where I skip VMXsetup)
*edit* Is there another way instead of Proxifier such as a VPN?(detailed method on this)
Thank you so much for the help. I just want a better explanation on the things I have mentioned above to better my understandings and how to be prepared.
