Greetings.

Im having a hell of a time setting up a suitable windows VM for eve online.

Either i have to use a full blown windows installation using up much RAM, only to have performance randomly tank, which seems to be a known issue. Using a VMware Workstation 15.

or i use an older version with Windows7Lite and find out that the latest Eve launcher requires C++ packages that only work with Sp1 which ofc the Windows Lite version i have doesnt have and doesnt have a working windows updater.

I havnt been able to find a combination of working windows ISO + VMware version that works.


I've tried the macrolabs FAQ guide, it seem out of date as the Eve launcher doesnt work due to missing DLL's (C++ issue mentioned above)


I'd appreciate some help here, A link to a known working combination of VMware and Windows ISO (preferably 'lite' versions that can run on few cores and limited RAM) with working downloads.
