Hi everyone
I have got a vos based in Canada and at the moment i am running a proxy server from my home to this server and my bot is running at home. So my question is will i still need a a proxy server if i just run EP off a VM on this vps or is this a bad idea

Hiding IP with proxy is required to not link several bots or bot and main account. If you run VM on your server it is, generally, OK to not hide IP. You should do this if you expect that other bot users may sit in the same IP range only (ISP is popular VPN provider) You already used your server IP, so should not switch already.

I tryed to run a vm on win server 2008 r2 but i cant. i cant access the bios on the server because it is in Canada so i tryed to install eve and eve pilot directly onto the server but when i run the launcher it just gives me a black screen does any1 know how i can get round this

Try to set in evelauncher properties windows xp compatibility mode. I don't know about black screen, but white screen was fixed like this in the past.
