I want to change from vmware workstation 7.1.6 build-744570 to a newer version, any other version? i cannot use versions 10-13 due to my hardware it dosnt let me boot windows 7 there, dont know why some amd-v error
someone using 15?

7.1 is the best version imho. I cannot use 15th due to hardware incompatibility. 12th is OK if you set directx9 mode in eve launcher. Check CPU virtualization setting in BIOS.

works fine with vmware workstation 15, im using last stable version, just create the virtual machine and all setup in 7.1 unistall 7.1 and install 15 and clone thath machine or create all in 7.1 and will work. Just dont use new vmware tools use the old ones.
