When I made my new x64 VMs from scratch with Win 7 x64 Ultimate I only set the disk space to 24GB and that was plenty for the OS and EVE install. You can try and lower the RAM to 1GB but CCP is adding more and more graphics that can't be turned off so 2GB really does end up being necessary.

I used Win7 Tiny for a while because it worked okay using only 1GB RAM but after CCP added more graphics that can't be turned off its hard to get a functional client from less than 2GB RAM.

I found another solution for the api dll launcher issue and white screen after succesfull login on old launcher on VMvare.

Here is Win7 SP1 Tiny Ultimate ENG x86 iso file, which runs on VMvare 12 and only thing which need for hapiness is update for C++ redistributables vc_redist.x86, commonly found on windows update web

There is no need for editing virtuals, just add new disk and intall

I wasted lot of time by solving this easyFaping issue

Now I just install the wins and EP + eve and working fine, disks now under 15GB

This windows seems to work well. Helped me fix another issue (login button not detected) when I switched to this from x64. Does this have better performance than x64 VMs?

Page still works for me but just use Microsoft search for Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 and you should see the result listed
